This three piece tea set was manufactured by Roseville Pottery in the Freesia pattern, which was introduced in 1945. The set is crafted from earthenware and features a low, squat form with a textured, wave-like ground finished in a shaded green matte glaze. The embossed decoration consists of Freesia floral sprays with blossoms in shades of cream-yellow and lavender-purple. The teapot has a distinctive sweeping handle that arcs from the back of the body to the front rim. The sugar bowl features two small integral handles, and the creamer has a single matching handle. The bases of all three pieces feature raised marks in the mold reading Roseville U.S.A. followed by the model numbers 6-T for the teapot, 6-C for the creamer, and 6-S for the sugar bowl.
