Three owls hand painted Russian nesting boxes, three figurines which separate, top from bottom, to reveal a smaller figure of the same sort inside, which has, in turn, another figure inside of it, and so on. Made from linden wood, painted with gouache & lacquered. 5" H. * the beaks on the figures are separate pieces of attached wood, 3-D, which does not fully appear in the photo. Â
