<B>Group Lot of Three Original Civil War Era Issues of </B></I><B><I>Harper's Weekly</B></I></B></I> (New York: Harper Brothers, 1865), about 16 pages each, elephant folio (11.5" x 16"), with the typical yellowing and very minor chipping to pages due to the high acid content of the paper. Of note is a December 9, 1865 issue, much of which is devoted to General Grant, complete with engravings; a September 9, 1865 issue with a double page engraving of the Metropolitan Police and a story and engravings of Mexican rulers Maximilian and Carlotta; and a June 24, 1865 edition with a full-page engraving of General Grant Meeting General Scott, “Johnnie Comes Marching Home”, and General Sheridan and his Generals.
