These Staffordshire Liberty Blue plates measure 10 inches across. The scene depicted on these dinner plates is Independence Hall. The plates are in very good condition one has a small chip and one has a slighty different border. The Staffordshire Liberty Blue dinnerware pattern was a 1976 grocery store premium item made to tie in with the 1776-1976 bicentennial celebration of America's Declaration of Independence from England. This was made by Enoch Wedgwood in the Staffordshire district of England, it is blue on white Staffordshire ironstone that depicts different Historic Colonial America scenes.
