A set of three large natural giant clam shell valves, identified as Tridacna species, likely Tridacna gigas or Tridacna squamosa. These marine bivalve specimens feature heavy, thick-walled construction with deep, undulating radial ribs and prominently scalloped margins. The exterior surfaces exhibit a weathered white color with a matte, chalky texture and visible calcareous encrustations from tube worms or bryozoans. The interiors are smooth and creamy white with a naturally polished, nacreous appearance. The hinge areas, or umbones, display characteristic elongated ligament scars with orange-tan to amber coloration. These specimens are typical of the Indo-Pacific region and are intended for decorative or architectural display. Bidders are advised that Tridacna species are listed under CITES Appendix II, and international trade is subject to strict regulations.
