<B>Three Issues of the <I>Saturday Globe,</B></I></B></I> May 26, 1900; October 10, 1908; and November 7, 1908, 16 x 22. The <I>Saturday Globe</B></I> was the first United States newspaper that could claim to be a truly national newspaper. It pioneered methods in news gathering, printing and building (and holding) a large circulation. All three issues folded with some tearing along the folds.
