1) 18th century style forged iron spearhead that measures 14 3/4 inches long mounted on a 76 3/4 inch long round wooden shaft. 2) 17th century style forged iron spearhead that measures 13 1/2 inches long mounted on a 69 inch long round wooden shaft. 3) Pike with forged 9 1/2 inch spearhead with reinforcing ridges mounted on a 63 inch round wooden shaft. 4) Display rack measuring 70 inches long, 29 inches high and 7 1/4 inches deep, this is a square framed hardwood display rack, with holes in the upper board and slots in the lower board for 9 polearms. On the front is a hardwood shield, with gold painted trim and a green field, showing a gold painted rampant lion in the center. Provenance: The William Ashby Collection

1) Good, there is some minor pitting and a dark aged patina overall. The head is slightly bent. The replacement shaft is very good with scattered minor scratches and dings overall. 2) Fair, moderate pitting overall with a number of dings on the edges and a dark aged patina overall. The shaft is good with one large crack and several smaller cracks along with some scattered scratches and dings. 3) Good, there is some minor deformation of the reinforcing ridges, some minor pitting and some minor surface oxidation. There is a brown patina overall. The shaft is good with some long cracks and moderate wear overall. 4) Very good, with some light handling marks.
