Three issued Colorado mining stocks. 1) Wolcott Gold Mining, Milling & Development Company, cert. #1518, issued at Chicago, Illinois in 1903 to Elmer Bishop the company secretary for 100,000 shares. Signed by James A. Bishop as president and Elmer Bishop as secretary. Operated at Querida, Custer County, Colorado. Owned property on the northwest side of Bassick Hill adjoining the Bassick Mine. A shaft was in place that was near 500 feet deep and was being deepened. U/C. 2) The Cardinal Mining and Milling Company, cert. #171, issued at Denver in 1893 to J.S. Ralston for 24,000 shares. Signed by Geo. W. Baker as president and W.R. Hanze as secy. The company was incorporated in Colorado in 1892 to operate in Boulder County, Colorado. Condition is poor. Many tears and extra folds. U/C. 3) Pilgrim Gold, Silver & Copper Mining Company, cert. #A3176, issued in 1922 to White Bros. & Co. for 100 shares. Incorporated in Delaware.
