<B>Three Colonial American Legal Deposition Documents.</B></I> Three documents, 8” x 12”, with various 1779 dates, Bergen County, New Jersey. While the subject gist of the three legal examinations are difficult to follow, apparently one deals with the supplying of cattle to the “<I>enemy</B></I>” with references to “<I>Clintons men</B></I>” (British General Henry Clinton). Another deposition deals with a military action involving canoes and the last document concerns the movements of several “<I>black men</B></I>”.
