<B>Three Civil War Soldier Letters.</B></I> Three multi-page letters all written to the Mars family by three individual soldiers, all written in 1863. The first letter was written to Mr. Benjamin Mars on January 15, 1863 by Sam McGinnet. It measures 5" x 8" and is four pages long, complete with a patriotic envelope. In very fine condition; foxing visible throughout; soiling on fold lines; normal folds. The second letter was written to the whole family from a John Mack on February 2, 1863. It measures 5" x 7.75" and is four page long. The writing is very light but overall in very fine condition; light foxing present throughout; normal folds; several severe foxing areas on page 4. The third and final letter was written to the entire family as well by W. McLaughlin on February 6, 1863. Measuring 8" x 9.75" and four pages long. In good condition; normal folds; moderate soiling and edge wear on the left edge; pencil and ink notations on first page.
