Gilt rayed plate with a silver King's crown at the top with "ROUGH RIDERS" in a banner underneath, two dragoons on either side of a shield with a cross in the center, oak leaf and acorn sprays on either side with a banner reading "SOUTH AFRICA 1900-1902" and at the bottom a banner reading "THE CITY OF LONDON IMPERIAL YEOMANRY". 2) Officer's Fifth Royal Irish Lancers lance cap plate. Gilt rayed plate with a silver Victorian crown at the top over The Royal Arms of Great Britain with an Irish harp, 4 battle honors on banners with cloverleafs and a banner at the bottom reading "FIFTH ROYAL IRISH LANCERS". 3) Early officer's 17th or The Duke of Cambridge's Lancers lance cap plate. Gilt rayed plate with a silver Victorian crown at the top with The Royal Arms of Great Britain underneath, the skull and crossed bones badge of the 17th Lancers is at the bottom.

Condition: 1) Fine, the gilt plate remains bright with minor wear. The silver components have a dark aged patina. 2) Very good, the gilt plate has a generally bright appearance with some patina showing through on some high edges. The silver components have a dark aged patina with some bright high edges. 3) Very good, the gilt plate has a generally bright appearance with a dark patina in the protected areas.
