In this lot we offer Three cir. 1972 anti-war posters. The first poster measures 29" X 20" and is in a frame 31" X 21". The poster is in a distressed style, promoting a anti-war march May 21. The poster is in good condition. The second poster is from a photo taken by Winston Vargas. The poster is 17" X 24" and shows a young woman protester holding a sign " Valentine Dwornik Born 1949 Died Vietnam 1969" Winston Vargas is famous for his black and white photos of "Real Street Life NY". This poster is mounted on foam board that measures 27 1/2" x 20 1/2" and is in fair condition. The third poster is by Walter Iler 1974 shows a caricature of Richard Nixon as Louis XIV with the phrase "après moi le déluge" The phrase après moi le déluge is used to indicate indifference to events that will happen after one's death. The poster measures 35" x 23" and has very minor wear and damage.
