H. Rossen, a transmittal letter for the latter's monthly salary, with the usual fold creases, else fine; and a four page letter, 5” x 8”, Newark, June 13, 1854, from Judge Joseph Hornblower to William Ropes, in which he opines legal opinions on runaway slaves with many references to Daniel Webster, with the usual fold creases, else very good. <I>Ex.
