1) Life and Death in Rebel Prisons by Robert Kellog. 1868 edition. Based on the journals of Union Army prisoners, this book was published right after the Civil War. It details the harsh conditions and daily atrocities of prison life in Andersonville, GA, Florence, SC as well as some details of the war. 2) Sketches in Prison Camps by Charles C. Nott. Third edition. 3) The Capture, the Prison Pen, and the Escape by Willard Glazier. 1865. Overall the lot is in poor condition, but it is still three 1860's Civil War books on prisons.
