Manufactured circa 1972, this Thompson Center "Contender" has 21" blued break action barrel chambered in .223 Remington, and no iron sights. It features a serrated hammer spur, centerfire/rimfire selector on the hammer, curved serrated trigger, and an engraving of the Puma on both sides of the receiver. There is a smooth plastic thumbhole stock, ventilated recoil pad, and no forend. Metal finish is about 94% with minor scratches and a few spots of light surface rust. The stock is serviceable, and looks to have customization and hand-work done along with minor blemishes. Bore appears dirty but the rifling looks strong. Tight lock-up, and the action seems good. This rifle includes a Leupold mount, rings, and a Tasco 3-9x40 scope.
Condition is NRA Good.
