Demosthenes (384-322 B.C.) overcame a serious speech impediment to become the most outstanding of the Greek orators. The orations in this volume illustrate the dialogue between Demosthenes and his critics in the Athenian Assembly. Also included is his brilliant speech "On the Crown." The book is in good condition with considerable wear on the binding.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
