Rare broadside on silk entitled “President Jefferson's Inaugural Speech,” 12 x 22, printed by True & Parks of Boston in 1805. Stitched at edges and laid down on a textile for reinforcement. Mounted and framed to an overall size of 15 x 25. In very good condition, with some fraying and loss of silk which affects several words. True & Parks, the publisher of The Democrat, first printed Jefferson's inaugural on the front page of the March 16, 1805, issue of the paper and then offered a special silk broadside version to subscribers.
