Renowned American artist (1889–1975) whose distinctive ‘regionalist’ style made him one of the most influential figures in American art during the 1930s and 1940s. Exhibition catalog, 7.25 x 10.25, for a showing of Benton’s work at the Graham Gallery in New York, held from November 26 to December 28, 1968, signed and inscribed on the title page in blue ballpoint “To Douglas Lyons, from Thomas H. Benton.” A light vertical crease, and some light toning and soiling to the cover, otherwise fine condition.
