Silent film star, director, producer, and screenwriter (1882–1924) of more than 100 films and a pioneering studio mogul known as the ‘Father of the Western.’ Vintage pearl-finish 7.5 x 9.5 photo, boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To L. C. Hull, With all good wishes n’ everything, Thos. H. Ince.” Scattered creasing including a few touching his head, chip and bend to upper right corner, tack holes at the corners, and silvering to the darker areas, otherwise fine condition. Signed photos of Ince are extremely rare; this is the only one we have ever offered.
