Outstanding vintage matte-finish 4.25 x 6.25 Pach Brothers photo of a seated Edison holding a book and gazing directly at the viewer, on a 7 x 9 mount. Signed and inscribed in black fountain pen “To W. S. Sears, Thos. A. Edison,” beneath his image on the mount with his “umbrella” signature. In very good condition, with light toning and soiling, minor staining to bottom edge of mount from exposure to moisture, chipped upper left corner (easily matted out), and crease to upper right corner tip. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
