Vintage glossy 9 x 7 photo of Edison seated in the chemistry lab of his West Orange Laboratory, with his secretary William Meadowcroft and four other gentleman standing behind Edison, with one man holding a framed display of what appears to be a small tribute to Edison, and affixed to a 12 x 10 mount, signed on the mount in black ink, with his instantly-recognizable ‘umbrella’ signature, “Thos. A. Edison.” Lightly trimmed edges to photo, some scattered light silvering, a small tear to top of mount, and mild toning to mount from previous framing, otherwise fine condition. An excellent example of Edison in his element.
