Edison letterhead, Orange, New Jersey, February 12, 1915, to Mr. Orlando W. Hart. Edison sends thanks for Mr. Hart's "...message of congratulations and good wishes on my birthday..." This letter was written the day after Edison's 68th birthday and during a very busy and productive period in his professional life. The War in Europe was forcing him to find, invent, or manufacture himself various substances needed for both industry and the war effort. This letter is in fine condition and is attractively double matted with a B&W photo of Edison standing in his lab to an overall size of 19.5" x 15.5".
