ANS in pencil, signed "E," at the top of a letter addressed to him by his son Charles, one page, 5 x 8, March 3, 1923. Edison writes, in full: "Charlie, you might put your foot in it.” Charles’s handwritten letter to his father: “Oh lookit!! I suppose they want me on the theory that ‘a man can always talk best when he aint bothered by facts and information’ as Kim Hubbard says. However ‘my attainments in the field of electrical engineering’ are such as should be the envy of any college president.” In fine condition, with pin holes to the upper left corner, and a small slice to left edge.
