"WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS BY THE AUCTIONEER ONCE ALL BIDS HAVE BEEN PROCESSED TO DETERMINE THE WINNER FOR EACH LOT."
Two autograph letters signed by Thomas Edison, both to Charles W. Luhr, Vice President of Edison Phonograph Works. First octavo-sized letter written at bottom of a typed letter from Luhr dated 30 October 1923 in which Luhr requests a ''non-lubricated'' example of their Baby Console phonograph that was receiving consumer complaints. Edison writes, ''Luhr, I will try and get one. Such things will always occur where mfrs do not check everything by Inspectors. Edison''. Second quarto letter, with no place or date, on lined beige paper reads: ''Luhr / I have some Reproducers that the limiting pin & [drawing] holder lets weight down lower than others. Also I note that cord apparently varies in length and some diamond points when playing has the lever at a different angle than others - E''. Excellent pair of letters on Edison's famed phonograph invention.
