Thomas Dalton Beaumont; Rural scene of frightened by wolves, a team of horses and sled with hunter and guide. Original Frame (as is). Painted circa 1900+-. Biography from Edan Hughes; "Artists in California 1786-1940".
Born in Canada in 1869. Beaumont was working as an art restorer in Camden, NJ in 1910. He was a resident of San Francisco by 1915 and active there into the 1930s. Due to the Depression and limited sales, he then returned to Canada. He specialized in paintings of hunting dogs, landscapes of Yosemite, and boats.
