Thomas Baker of Leamington Spa, "View of Haddon Hall with felled oak in the foreground", oil on canvas, a view of the Hall with two figures beneath a tree in the foreground, signed and dated 1852, 29cm x 43cm, 11 1/2 inches x 18 1/2 inches. Thomas Baker kept a Diary Record of his paintings, now in the Birmingham Art Gallery and Museum, in this he numbered each painting provided a thumb nail sketch and a description of the painted and, in this instance detailed to whom it was sold - one Mr Henry Wallis.
