<B>Thomas A. Edison Autograph Note Signed</B></I> "<I>E</B></I>". One page, 5" x 8", on lined note paper, Orange, New Jersey, circa 1924 , to Jeffrey P. Buchanan (manager of Edison's disk department), written in Edison's hand. It reads "<I>Buchanan/ 5 ½ grams water / is lost. by this/ test, per illegible name </B></I>." The note is in response to an experiment to determine water loss on disc blanks at the Orange, NJ factory. A one page summary of the experiment on the same paper as Edison's ANS is signed by a "<I>George E. Hart</B></I>."
