<B>Group Lot of Six Medals.</B></I> Consists of: <B>(ca. 1860) George Washington Mint Medal Time Increases His Fame,</B></I> copper, Baker-91D, Uncirculated, designed by Wm. Kneass and Anthony Paquet, struck at the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia during 1860-1865; <B>1861 U.S. Mint--Washington Oath of Allegiance,</B></I> bronze, Baker 279B, AU, designed by Anthony Paquet and struck at the Philadelphia Mint to commemorate the completion of the requirement that all Mint personnel swear an oath of allegiance to the Constitution, the requirement was completed about five weeks after the Union defeat at the First Battle at Bull Run (July 21, 1861); <B>Three Washington U.S. Mint Medals,</B></I> designed by A. Paquet in the 1860s, Choice AU, Washington and Andrew Jackson, Washington and Lincoln, Washington and U.S. Grant; and an <B>1883 Centennial of Peace Between U.S. & Great Britain,</B></I> XF/AU, with ribbon attached, on the reverse is an image of Washington's headquarters in Newburgh, New York, and WASHINGTON'S HEADQUARTERS 1783.
