<B>Group Lot.</B></I> Consists of: <B>1876 International Exhibition Philadelphia Washington Medal,</B></I> Uncirculated and prooflike, Baker 426B, beautiful medal portraying George Washington on the obverse with winged angels on each side holding a crown of stars above his head, around the edge are FIRST IN WAR, FIRST IN PEACE, FIRST IN THE HEARTS OF HIS COUNTRYMEN, on the reverse there are gowned figures receiving laurels, representing Agriculture, Arts, Manufacturing, and Science, struck in very high relief with a high strong rim; and a <B>1889 Washington Centennial Anniversary Medal,</B></I> Uncirculated prooflike, Douglas 48, 50.5 mm, white metal, R.7, nice, obverse Harzfeld bust of George Washington in oval surrounded by oak and laurel, reverse is oath-taking scene of Jefferson and Livingston with Washington.
