Theodore Sturgeon. "Never Underestimate..." New York, n.d. [1952]
Corrected Typescript. 8.5 x 11 inches. 28 loose pages.

Originally published in The Omnibus of Science Fiction, a 1952 anthology, this short story by Sturgeon concerns a sexist scientist's attempt to muzzle women's controlling sexual powers over men through a nuclear bomb test. Vintage Atomic-era science fiction. The story is written on thin typewriter paper, which has yellowed over the past half century, but not to a great degree. There are red pencil marks at the top of the title page, and handwritten editorial corrections scattered throughout the story. The top left corner of page 27 has been torn away, but overall, the typescript is in fine condition. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
