President Roosevelt appoints Adolph Hasler “a Chief Gunner in the Navy.” Nicely signed at the conclusion in ink by Roosevelt, and countersigned by Secretary of the Navy Charles Bonaparte. In very good condition, with a central horizontal and vertical fold, scattered creasing and wrinkling, and show-through from moderate mounting remnants on reverse. The blue seal is worn and creased, but intact.
