Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 15.5 x 19.5, December 22, 1908. Roosevelt appoints George P. Auld to the position of “Paymaster in the Navy, with the rank of Lieutenant.” Signed at the conclusion “Theodore Roosevelt,” and countersigned by Secretary of the Navy Truman Newberry. Framed to an overall size of 18.25 x 22.25. In very good condition, with intersecting storage folds, light rippling and creasing, and Roosevelt’s signature a few shades light, but still completely legible. The blue seal is worn and creased, but still intact. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
