Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 22.75 x 18.75, January 27, 1908. Roosevelt appoints Drew Linard a “Consul of the United States of America at Ceiba, Honduras.” Signed at the conclusion by Roosevelt and countersigned by Secretary of State Elihu Root. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, some scattered light foxing, small mounting remnant to reverse, and some slight mirroring of ink from folding. The white wafer seal is just slightly worn and intact.
