Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 21 x 16, July 12, 1906. President Roosevelt appoints Lyle Bennehoff to the position of Postmaster at Alfred, New York. Signed at the conclusion by Roosevelt, and countersigned by Postmaster General George Cortelyou. Uniform toning, with a bit heavier toning and soiling to edges, as well as some scattered light creases and wrinkles, otherwise fine condition. The gold foil seal is slightly worn, but intact.
