Partly-printed DS as president, signed “Theodore Roosevelt,” one page, 20 x 16, February 15, 1902. Roosevelt appoints “Blair F. Scott…Postmaster at Lake City in the County of Missaukee, State of Michigan.” A few tears, mild staining and spotting (heavier at the left side; spotting affecting appearance), and chipping and missing paper along the top and right borders, otherwise very good condition. The gold foil seal and red ribbons are intact, and Roosevelt’s signature is clean and unaffected.
