<B>Theodore Roosevelt Typed Letter Signed</B></I> "<I>Theodore Roosevelt</B></I>". One page, 8.5" x 11", on Roosevelt's Kansas City Star letterhead, New York, July 15, 1918, to Major General David C. Shanks, Hoboken, New Jersey, with the usual fold creases, signature slightly faded, else bold and in near fine condition. Roosevelt wrote a series of editorials for the <I>Kansas City Star</B></I> during WWI. It was in this capacity that he wrote to General Shanks: "My dear General Shanks: I am really obliged to you for sending me that manual. I will look through it with the greatest interest."
