<B>Theodore Roosevelt Typed Letter Signed as Governor of New York</B></I> “<I>T. Roosevelt</B></I>”. One page, 8” x 10.5”, on State of New York Executive Chamber letterhead, Albany, March 7, 1899, to George H. Davis, New York. Governor Roosevelt apologizes to Davis for having missed a meeting with the latter and advises him that if he will “<I>write in advance for an appointment, you shall have it</B></I>”. The letter has toned with age and bears evidence of taped repairs on the verso. Roosevelt's signature is slightly faded, else good. <I>Ex. Henry E.
