Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 21.25 x 17.25, June 5, 1908. President Roosevelt appoints James F. Stutesman of Indiana as "Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Bolivia." Boldly signed at the conclusion by President Roosevelt and countersigned by Secretary of State Elihu Root. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 29 x 25. In very good to fine condition, with scattered creasing, and a small stain to the top edge.
