Letter to Reverend Bishop Griswold asking him to attend an annual meeting of the American Bible Society to join “those who are engaged in the highly important work of distributing the scriptures.” Integral second page bears an address panel in another hand. In fine condition, with intersecting folds, and small area of paper loss to second page from removal of wax seal.
