Letter to a lady declining an invitation. In full: “I am very sorry that the overwhelming pressure of my own work absolutely prohibits my engaging in any outside endeavors of whatever nature for the time being. I am usually at home during the tea hour, and would be glad to have you drop in sometime when you felt so minded.” In very good condition, with partial separations along horizontal mailing folds, scattered toning and soiling, small pencil notation to bottom, and tape remnants to top corners.
