Ohio-born yet strangely exotic film actress (1885–1955), nicknamed “The Vamp,” who became one of the most iconic sex symbols of the silent era. Vintage matte-finish 5 x 7 photo of Bara and her dog, signed in fountain pen, “Theda Bara, 1916.” In fine condition, with two pinholes at the extreme top and bottom borders, a touch of subtle soiling, and some silvering to the darker areas.
