The only known example of a double barrel percussion knife pistol with original scabbard, circa 1860, 9mm cal., 4-1/2” barrels, 15” blade, 23” overall. This extremely rare oddity is in overall very good condition showing a pleasingconsistent light patina on all metal surfaces with scattered areas of erosion and pin prick pitting; folding triggers, working action, tastefully engraved guard, horn grips that are good overall with minor scratches and mars to surfaces, verygood leather scabbard with metal throat and tip. A truly one-of-a-kind piece worthy of a museum display or center piece for a serious collector’s gunroom. Est.: $17,500-$35,000.
