Front wrap detached, but present; some staple rust. Some light chipping to wraps. Minor dampstaining affecting some text and plates, especially the final plate. Good. A plated copy of this rare catalogue, featuring George D. Woodside’s outstanding collection of United States pattern coins. The Woodside collection is one of the finest collections of patterns ever formed and, with plates, is one of the rarities of American numismatic literature. The sale also featured James Oliver’s notable collection of Canadian coins, tokens and medals, with important pieces including a 1760 Montreal medal depicted on the plates.
