The Woman Alone (Gaumont British, 1937). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). This film, known as "Sabotage" in its British release, was Alfred Hitchcock's follow-up to his breakthrough films, the successful one-two punch of "The Man Who Knew Too Much" and "The 39 Steps." The owner of a London cinema moonlights as a member of a gang of saboteurs, so an undercover agent moves to a neighborhood shop to learn more of their plans. The card has a staplehole in the top-left corner and some speckled stains in the image area. The borders are very clean, though, with nearly flawless edges and vivid colors. Very Fine+.
