Remarkable original Robert Stigwood Organization call sheets from the production of The Who's 1975 film Tommy for the 'Pinball Wizard' scene, three pages, 8 x 13, May 8, 1974, signed on the last page in blue ballpoint by Pete Townshend, Keith Moon, John Entwistle, Roger Daltrey, Eric Clapton, and Ann-Margret. The call sheet offers information concerning the actors and extras needed, time and locations, production staff and equipment required, and various other shooting details for the scene. Notably, the sheet indicates that the sound department must bring, "Playback and tapes 'PINBALL WIZARD.' P.A. System." In fine condition, with some scattered foxing and staining; the signed page remains very clean. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.

Tommy was first released by The Who in 1969, an album they envisioned as a singular 'rock opera,' telling the story of a 'deaf, dumb and blind kid.' In 1975, it was adapted for the screen with a star-studded cast that included members of The Who, Ann-Margret, Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Elton John, and Jack Nicholson. Pete Townshend oversaw the production of an entirely new Tommy album for the soundtrack, this time using synthesizers to create orchestral arrangements he had envisioned and taking advantage of the available musicians. These original call sheets, signed by key members of The Who and their co-stars, are a truly awesome relic of one of The Who's most ambitious projects.
