CHAUNCEY DEPEW. 1899, n.p. A $1,000 bond for the West Shore Railroad Company due in the year 2361. It was issued to "St. Thomas Church in the City of New York" and signed "Chauncey M Depew" as president. Orange on white paper with a large lower vignette of a mountain river; there are clipper ships and steamboats on the water. Litho. Punch cancelled, including two through Depew's signature, but it is in very fine condition.
