Stamped: 'Compliments of Erastus Wiman' (1834 - 1904) who was a Canadian journalist and businessman who later moved to the United States. Gilt-stamped leather cover. Illustrated. This is a review, through reprints of articles and illustrations in the New York Tribune and New York Graphic, of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of George Washington's inauguration in New York City in 1789. Locke W. Winchester was a Veteran of the National Guard, Seventh Regiment and a member of the Committee on the Centennial Celebration.
