The Victorian General's Mameluke Sword of Commissary General of Ordnance Col. J.T. Ingram
30 inch blade with clip back point etched with a crown, 'V.R.' cypher and foliage, copper gilt hilt with knot, two piece grips, contained in its brass scabbard. Sold together with four commission documents and two photographs of Ingram. Ingram served in the New Zealand campaigns of 1861-63 (medal) and became Commissary General at Woolwich. Died 1933.
