Suit worn by Henry Fonda in the role of Thomas Watson in the 1939 film The Story of Alexander Graham Bell. Suit consists of: a light brown single-breasted suit jacket with a United Costumer’s tag sewn into the lining with Fonda’s name written on the first line and a stamped number on the second; a matching colored vest with an identical tag sewn into the lining; and a pair of brown wool pants, also bearing a United tag with Fonda’s name written on the first line. In fine condition. Accompanied by a screen grab from the film depicting Fonda in the suit.
