<B>The Sound of Music (20th Century Fox, 1965).</B></I> Australian Three Sheet (41" X 81"). One of the most famous opening shots in film history is Julie Andrews romping through the Austrian Alps as she sings the title song to this Oscar-winning Best Film. In reality, the shot was misery for Andrews. She was freezing cold, and in take after take, the blast from the helicopter blades kept knocking her down. About to give up, she finally got the signal from director Robert Wise (who was hiding in a nearby tree so as not to be seen in the shot) that they had a good take.
